Description
This shifter trim is made from "dry" carbon fiber, resulting in the thinnest, lightest, and strongest possible dress-up part. Perhaps the strength is not our biggest concern in this case, but dry carbon has benefits that help make this part great. Dry carbon uses "prepreg" carbon fiber material that starts out infused with epoxy resin. Once it is formed into a mold, it is baked in a special oven called an autoclave. This leads to a finer, superior finish, since the amount of resin is more uniform and more precisely controlled compared to "wet" layup carbon where the resin is applied after the fact by hand.
In this case the glossy finish gives a really classy and high-performance appearance to the interior of your WRX. Think supercar interior trim. This part goes great with our dry carbon armrest cover and dry carbon center console cover.
The cover installs directly over the existing shifter trim. Simple peel-and-stick installation using pre-installed 3M-type adhesive. Clean the shifter surround with a little rubbing alcohol before installation for best adhesion.
Fits all MANUAL transmission 2022+ Subaru WRX. Does NOT fit CVT cars.
