Description
This armrest cover is made from "dry" carbon fiber, resulting in the thinnest, lightest, and strongest possible dress-up part. We realize cosmetic carbon fiber parts don't need to be strong, but what we said about dry carbon is true. Dry carbon uses "prepreg" carbon fiber material that starts out infused with epoxy resin. Once it is formed into a mold, it is baked in a special oven called an autoclave. This leads to a finer, superior finish, since the amount of resin is more uniform and more precisely controlled compared to "wet" layup carbon where the resin is applied after the fact by hand.
In this case the glossy finish gives a really classy and high-performance appearance the interior of your WRX. Think supercar interior trim. This cover goes great with our dry carbon center console cover, and other carbon fiber interior bits.
This part fits the base armrest only; it does not fit the pop-up extension armrest.
The armrest cover installs directly over the existing armrest. Simple peel-and-stick installation using pre-installed 3M-type adhesive.
Fits all 2022+ Subaru WRX WITHOUT an armrest extension.
