Choose from slotted or plain rotors; slots in brake rotors help allow gases to escape from between the brake pad and the rotor, although with today's modern pad compounds, to be honest, there is not a lot of out-gassing. Note that the majority of rotors we sell are NOT cross-drilled. Over the years we have observed that cross-drilled rotors tend to develop stress cracks at the holes, leading to a shorter life span. For that reason, most of our rotors are slotted or plain, but not cross-drilled.
