Description
The Oil Control Valve (OCV) is responsible for metering oil to the AVCS system that moves the intake cams around on 2004-2014 STI's, and all other 2006-2010 2.5 turbo Subarus. We've seen some weird problems caused by failed or failing oil control valves. Available for all AVCS-equipped EJ motor cars. Sold individually.
Note that this is the oil control valve for the INTAKE cam. On 2008+ STI models there is a separate OCV for exhaust cam.
There are three slightly different versions of this part. Specify model and year. Note! MY2010 cars with build date of Jan. 6, 2010 and later use the 2011-style solenoid (part 10938)!
