Muteki's SP45R Super Spline Nut is a forged chrome vanadium steel open-ended lug nut with high-end race-inspired features at a great price.
SP45R fasteners are forged from 50BV30 steel, which is cold-forged and then heat treated for increased hardness. Each fastener is 22mm in width and 45mm long. The tough black outer finish is enhanced with a laser-engraved SP45R logo on each lug nut, plus an accent color ring around the opening of the lug nut. We noticed that the accent ring has an interesting dichroic property, where the color seems to shift with the viewing angle.
The spline-style configuration is inherently theft-resistant. The included tool is made of tough steel, not aluminum. The tool has both 21mm and 22mm hex sizes for ease of use, and can fit in wheel lug nut wells as narrow as 24mm.
As with any aftermarket lug nuts, we recommend using hand tools only to preserve the finish of these fasteners.
