Description
The Borla cat back exhaust is 25% lighter than the OE exhaust and showed gains of 4 whp (wheel horse power) and 6 ft. lbs. of wtq. (wheel torque) in testing by Borla! It's lighter than the stock system, too, by more than ten pounds. (Stock weight - 38.4 lbs. Borla cat back - 28 lbs.) The system features a 2.5" diameter stainless steel front pipe, and Borla's single muffler that incorporates patented Multi-Core Technology piping with 2" diameter split-rear pipes and 4.25" polished tips.
Since the Borla Catback BRZ has no rear muffler, Borla suggests their rear diffuser to prevent air turbulence under the rear of the car.
This exhaust fits all 2013+ Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, and Toyota 86/GR86, including 2022+.
