What does the R stand for? Arrrrr! But seriously, folks, the "R" indicates this turbo has a ball bearing center.That means better response, faster spool, and lower horsepower loss from parasitic drag compared to traditional bearings.
Otherwise, this turbo is the same as the 16G-XT you know and love, which means it's got a 54mm turbine wheel, a 65mm billet XT compressor wheel, with a rated flow of 38lbs per minute. 8cm2 or 10cm2 exhaust housings are available.
Turbo includes water pipes, oil feed line, turbine inlet and outlet gaskets, and ported exhaust housing.
